I have 2 MTX 12 "subwoofer in a closed box (so far) and are currently connected to an amplifier with 500W to 800W Xtreme mean is done because it is a problem if a well ... .. my problem is that has worked well and was very high, even in the state: From when I suddenly wanted to change the settings were low enough to adapt very well.. You may have cooked the subwoofer. If you have incorrectly connected and applied to high voltage in the coil, which can be brought through the insulation of the coil (this is very very thin) and is now part of the coil is shorted, suitable and clearly this imbalance worse.
They have shorted one or two speakers or amplifiers and dysfunctional ruined (the Brittany Spears parenting skills)
