Those diagnosed with Asperger syndrome, what was your experience with peer acceptance? - asperger

I am a student.
I do a study on peer acceptance and with Asperger syndrome or high functioning autism diagnosed.
In particular I want to know what happens in the school with the others.
I also have a 16 years old son living with Asperger's syndrome.
Any help would be very grateful.
